Alina provides strategic planning, marketing communication, and project management services to both public and private sector clients. She has successfully led the planning and implementation of numerous large-scale, multi-faceted projects over the course of her career. Providing consulting services in Canada and abroad, Alina brings a passion for value and service excellence to every assignment.
​
Alina led the marketing and communication program that launched Viva, York Region’s award-winning rapid transit service. This included managing the development and launch of the brand, deploying multi-media marketing campaigns, as well as business and public outreach programs.
​
As a director with Rogers Communications, Canada’s largest telecommunications company, Alina was responsible for several national product and service launches, managing large multi-disciplinary teams of professionals across the Rogers group of companies as well as consultants from around the world.
​
She worked on Toronto’s rapid transit expansion plans in the 1990s, leading the team coordinating multi-stakeholder involvement in property acquisition and site plan approvals for the Sheppard Subway. In the early part of her career, she was a land use planner, managing numerous industrial, commercial and residential projects.
​
Among her current projects, Alina is managing Research2Reality, a social media initiative that shines a spotlight on world-class scientists engaged in innovative and leading-edge research. She recently completed an assignment with the World Bank, where she was part of an international team of experts engaged to develop a pilot project for national management of motorization in Kenya and Ethiopia.
